This course provides a complete guide to Windows-based network security management. It focuses primarily on the skills necessary to implement and administer a network security infrastructure. Today’s networks are constantly under attack by a variety of sources; protecting a network against them requires implementing and administering an update-management infrastructure. Students will learn firewalls and other network security components to create an in-depth defensive perimeter in a computer networking environment. Topics include: Access Control List, Authentication, Security Policy, Certification Services, Encryption, Firewalls, Active Directory Services and IP Security.
